JOB TITLE: Material Handler

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: CPN Administration

SUPERVISOR: Director of Purchasing

FLSA: Hourly- Non Exempt

SALARY RANGE: $12.00 to $20.00

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family

JOB SUMMARY:

Work with Warehouse Supervisor's to compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between areas by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for receiving all incoming packages.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate inventory.
  • Responsible for driving and delivery of goods to specified areas.
  • Availability of stock.
  • Responsible for expediting the transfer of materials to assigned areas.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Working in warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Duties will also include record keeping, expedite transfer of material and parts to designated areas and unloading trucks.
  • Perform related duties and projects as assigned by supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

•Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent

•Must have basic computer skills

•Forklift Certification

•Valid Driver's License a must

•Clean Driving Record

•Basic math skills

•Must have good communication and written skills and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

•Self motivated

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Sitting, Standing or walking for long periods of time, frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and stooping. Frequent repetitive motions.
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal warehouse working environment.
