Position Summary:

The Provider Recruiter (PR) is responsible for the recruitment of providers for the successful advancement of new service lines, facilities, and strategic organizational initiatives. The PR directly supports all recruitment initiatives and the onboarding of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and Physicians. The PR works closely with human resources, medical staff, network leadership, revenue cycle, and organizational leadership.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or other closely related field required.
  • Master's degree in closely related field preferred.
Experience
  • A minimum of 1 (one) year prior professional experience in physician recruitment required.
  • A minimum of 1 (one) year experience with complete staff onboarding processes required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Certification from one of the following is preferred:
    • American Society of Physician Recruiters.
    • National Association of physician Recruiters
    • Association of Staff Physician Recruiters
  • SC Driver's License in good standing required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide an entry point of contact for all current and prospective providers and physicians.
  • Build and maintain open communication channels with current and prospective providers and provide education about hospital resources and other community services.
  • Assess and maintain candidate information using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Practice Match, Practice Link and/or other recruitment platforms.
  • Utilize proactive sourcing and engage with both active and passive candidates to build and maintain a strong network and candidate pool.
  • Prepare recruitment metrics and reports.
  • Attend local, regional, and national events for organizational recruitment goals as directed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think critically and be an effective problem solver.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to meet the project staffing recruitment needs of CMC.
  • Conduct a wide variety of candidate searches to include sourcing of candidates through all mediums.
  • Facilitate video interviews, phone calls, references, in-person interviews, site visits and presentation of candidates, meet and greet follow-up, and assistance with relocation.
  • Maintain excellence in communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the entire lifecycle of the recruiting process.
  • Provide exemplary core customer service and display strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively utilize strong organizational skills.
  • Always promote teamwork.
  • Consistently display effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Display a proficient understanding and use of technology/PC skills.
  • Regularly exercise independent judgment.
