Come be the change WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Senior Brand Manager Marketing - Modern Oral Business Development SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level FUNCTION: Marketing - Category Management LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NC ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate team member who possesses strong commercial acumen to join our marketing team. The Senior Manager Brand Marketing for Business Development is a strategic role for Reynolds American that will work to enable us to find solutions to build a winning portfolio in a dynamic and fast moving marketplace. This role will be working on workstreams that look after both organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the space of Modern Oral. This role also requires a high level of engagement and collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders in both US and Global Headquarters and external partners. Reports to Director Modern Oral Business Development Number of Direct Reports N/A Core Relationships Internal - Digital Marketing and Activation, Finance, Trade Marketing, Operations, R&D, Legal, & External Relations External - R&D, M&A, Third Party Agencies (Legal etc) Geographic Scope DRBU Travel Required 20 - 30% WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR * Discover, evaluate and develop organic and inorganic opportunities to reach our category ambition * Ownership of Commercial workstream to multiple ongoing and upcoming M&A workstreams * Lead operational plan development to commercialize downstream projects * Coordinate with commercial teams to scope and size opportunities (consumer base, revenue, share and profit) * Handle and encourage team members to work towards their goals * Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams including * Operations, R&D, Legal, & External Relations to build complete cross-functional plans * Ensure that corporate strategy and regulatory guidelines are handled and met across all marketing initiatives ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE * Bachelor's Degree required * 5 + years relevant marketing experience * Shown expertise in marketing management fundamentals * Demonstrated track record of successful, innovative problem solving and leadership that resulted in business improvement * Track record of innovation within marketing & communications: a strategic leader who takes initiative and ownership * Functional Area expertise and working understanding of the marketing process * Proven track record to passionately lead and empower a successful marketing team to achieve outstanding performance * Excellent communication, problem-solving & influencing skills, including personal presentation, emails and building presentation BENEFICIAL * Graduate Degree (MBA) preferred * Experience in sales/trade/distribution preferred * Strong brand and design acumen a plus WE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICAN-A member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUP At Reynolds American, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
