Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative/Clinical Medical Assistant to perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of our providers.

  • Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Graduated from a formal MA training program or graduated with an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.
  • Experience:
    • None required; previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight.
    • Proficient computer skills.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • Certification from a recognized program (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA) or LPN licensure.
    • Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire.
