PositionOverview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Engineer to join our team. As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the manufacturing process of overhead cranes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our production processes, driving innovation and excellence in our products.

Responsibilities:

GenerateshortagereportstotrackthestatusofmaterialsandcomponentsrequiredforJob

orders.

Analyzeshortagereportstoidentifypotentialbottlenecksordelaysintheproductionprocess.

Creatematerialrequisitionsandcoordinatewithpurchasingandinventorymanagementteamsto

address material shortages and ensure timely availability of required resources.

DevelopcutlistsdetailingthedimensionsandquantitiesofmaterialsrequiredforMachining and fabrication. Optimize cut lists to minimize material waste and maximize efficiency in materialutilization.

Monitortheprogressofjobs throughouttheproductionprocess toensurethey areon

schedule to meet the due date.

Identifyanypotentialdelaysor obstaclesandtakeproactivemeasurestoaddressthem.

Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Identifyareasforprocessimprovementandimplementinnovativesolutionstoenhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and otherbestpractices tostreamline operations and maximize resource utilization.

Workcloselywiththequalityassuranceteamtoresolvenon-conformitiesandimplement corrective and preventive actions.

Providetechnical expertiseandsupport toproduction staff,troubleshootingmanufacturingissues and providing guidance on best practices.

Collaboratewiththeengineeringteamtoresolvedesign-relatedissuesandimplementdesign

changes to improve manufacturability.

Quali?cations:

Bachelorsdegreeinmechanicalengineering,ManufacturingEngineering,orrelated?eld.

Proven experience inproductionengineering,preferablyinthe manufacturingofheavy

machinery or equipment such as overhead cranes.

Strongknowledgeofmanufacturingprocesses, includingmachining,welding, assembly,

and testing.

Pro?ciencyinleanmanufacturingprinciplesandcontinuousimprovementmethodologies.

Excellentproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytoanalyzecomplexissuesanddevelop effectivesolutions.

Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytocollaborateeffectively

acrossfunctionalteams.

Commitmenttoquality,safety,andcustomersatisfaction.

ExperiencewithCAD/CAMsoftwareandfamiliaritywithERPsystemsisaplus.

Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironment.
