Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology) - Tulsa, OK Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Cardiology Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with our Cardiologists to provide exceptional care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in the field of cardiology. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretations. Collaborate with Cardiologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders. Perform and assist with various cardiology procedures such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations under the supervision of a physician. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies relevant to cardiology care. Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, management of risk factors, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications. Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure timely follow-up care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Licensed by the State of Oklahoma as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and in good standing with the state medical board At least 2 years of experience in cardiology, cardiovascular disease, or cardiovascular health or a related field is preferred by Jobble
