Labor and Delivery RN EveningsClick Here to Apply OnlineJob DescriptionLocation: Good Samaritan Medical CenterPosted Date: 10/25/2023Schedule: 32 hours, EveningsPosition Summary:The Registered Nurse provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission vision and values into nursing practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center.The Registered Nurse must have excellent assessment skills, clinical skills, organizational skills, and computer knowledge and charge capabilities. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift, transfer and move patients. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. Able to complete mathematical computations required to perform treatment protocols. Education: BSN preferredExperience: Requires previous RN experience; Labor & Delivery experience required.Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, ACLS required & NRP RequiredSoftware/Hardware: MediTechAdditional InformationImportant COVID MessageThis position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. Any COVID-19 related care takes place in designated areas away from other patients and their families. Emergency Departments are reorganized to be a safe place to treat all emergency patients. A stringent cleaning policy has been implemented throughout the hospital. A strictly controlled visitor and masking policy is required for patient safety.
