Join our innovative team at Kinetic as we push the boundaries of technology in computer vision and robotics We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer with expertise in sensor calibration, pose estimation, and numeric optimization to enhance our project capabilities in developing cutting-edge solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement algorithms for camera and lidar sensor calibration.
- Develop solution for in-house camera calibration at scale.
- Enhance our computer vision capabilities to improve pose estimation accuracy.
- Collaborate with the robotics team to integrate algorithms into real-world applications.
- Optimize existing systems for better performance and efficiency.
- Write robust, maintainable code in Python and C++ for real-time systems.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sensor calibration techniques for cameras and lidars.
- Strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics.
- Proficient in programming with Python and C++.
- Solid understanding of geometric computer vision and numerical optimization algorithms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (Git, Docker, Agile/Scrum).
- Prior experience in an R&D environment working on commercial or industrial robotics projects.
