Description

Gastrointestinal Assistants perform a variety of clerical, technical, and patient care duties in support of the Endoscopy operations. The assistant maintains and cleans equipment, transports patients, and orders supplies. The GIA assists the physician and RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The assistant responds to emergency situation as directed by the RN.

Required Qualifications:

  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Experience in a health care setting.
