Registered Nurse

Heath Village is a constantly growing and unique retirement community providing multiple levels of housing and healthcare for close to 400 residents. We are currently seeking qualified, team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor to fill the following opening. Our Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of residents' care under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor responsibilities:

*Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to geriatric patients*

*Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals*

*Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient*

*Plans effective administration of assigned unit*

*Create and contribute to patients medical records as needed*

*Admits, transfers, and/or discharges residents*

*Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians*

*Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members*

*Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment*

Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:

*Valid nursing license*

*Excellent bedside manner and communication skills*

*Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations*

Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor shift openings:

*Full-time*

*11p-7a*

*Medical/Dental/Vision/LTD & Life Insurance available after 60 days (FT only)*

Job Type: Full-time
