The Boeing Additive Manufacturing (BAM) organization is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Auburn, WA. We are seeking an experienced project engineer to help establish and execute best project management practices. This position will support fabrication of parts for BCA, BDS, and BGS. BAM is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Senior and Lead level Project Engineers. Position Responsibilities Include: Provide the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers Develop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements Work with customers and management to obtain approval Respond to changes to SOW, assess the impact and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules Lead project execution to complete the work statement Identify performance metrics Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans Work under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience leading projects as either a Project Manager or Integrator Role Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1+ years of experience with SharePoint Project Web App (PWA) 1+ years of experience with Additive Manufacturing technologies Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
