We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.

Summary:

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking a Pharmacy clerk/teller to join our Pharmacy Team This position will work full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday (with a rotating Saturday shift from 9 am - noon). This position is also benefit eligible.

  • Day shift schedules.
  • Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties:
  • Performs cash handling and accurately handles transactions at the cash register and records insurance information per Pharmacy department procedures.
  • Performs inventory support. Receives, unpacks, checks, marks and properly stocks drugs and supplies. Orders and maintains stock and Over-the-counter (OTC) specials. Competently operations inventory management software.
  • Checks all orders for completeness of information. Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
Experience and Skills
  • Must have effective oral communications skills to professionally interact with patients, providers and staff.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Must possess attention to detail.
  • Mathematical computation skills.
  • Organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain adequate inventory/supplies.
  • Proficiency with computer and phone systems.
Education:
  • High school Diploma or GED certificate.
Previous Experience:
  • 1 year previous experience with cash handling and retail services.
The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:
  • $16.69 - $21.70/hour (full range is $16.69 - $25.03)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
