CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer (Sheet Metal) The Laser CNC Sheet Metal Programmer w ill create CNC sheet metal programs for both a CO 2 /fiber laser and punch press machines using Radan CAD CAM software. Develops CNC sheet metal programs for both a CO 2 /fiber laser and punch press machines using Radan CAD CAM software. Reads and interprets drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates. Must be able to multi-task, remain flexible to shifting priorities and possess excellent communication skills. Follows all safety rules and quality standards including all company policies and procedures. Performs job assignments in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2-5 years' experience in CNC Programming Experience with Radan CAD CAM Software for sheet metal cutting or equivalent program Experience in CNC programming for both punch and laser machines. Familiar with TRUMPH punch press, Mitsubishi, and Prima laser machines Versed in MS Office Products Must possess an understanding of production procedures.
