Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing large industrial equipment such as industrial furnaces, kilns, and ovens. Key responsibilities include designing mechanical parts and assemblies for thermal processing, automation, and process machinery. The role involves using CAD software to create preliminary and detailed models and drawings, performing process calculations for thermal and mechanical systems, and managing the CAD design team in creating and designing sketches, layouts, and drawings. The Mechanical Engineer will draft specifications for mechanical components and instruments to meet system requirements, specify materials suitable to the thermal and mechanical requirements of the application, and perform FEA simulations where appropriate. Additionally, the role requires driving a continuous improvement-based vision for the team and manufacturing processes and working with the Electrical Engineering manager to implement instrumentation and controls.

100% onsite // 8-5pm (flexible) // business casual dress code. 25 employees onsite // 5 Engineers. Multiple projects at once to support Aerospace, Industrial, Composites, Automotive industries.
