We are seeking a Permanent Neonatologist in Georgia. Permanent Neonatologist Position Type: Permanent Specialty: Physician - Neonatology Location: Georgia Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Days (In-house rounding during day; call from home at night) Start Date: Open End Date: N/A Position Details: Patient Population: Newborns requiring Level II NICU care, including high-risk and C-section deliveries Setting: Level II NICU at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center (119-bed acute care hospital, part of Piedmont Healthcare) Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for newborns in Level II NICU Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries Cover 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians unavailable Round in-house during the day Take call from home overnight Collaborate with nurses and allied staff Participate in quality improvement and care coordination Support newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed Required Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, newborn stabilization, and Level II NICU procedures EMR System: Epic (advanced EMR technology adopted by Piedmont system) Support Staff: Nursing and allied health professionals Days Per Month: Not specified On-Call/Weekends: Call responsibilities from home at night; weekend coverage likely included in call rotation Submission Requirements: Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology - REQUIRED Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED Experience or training in Level II NICU care - REQUIRED Join us today
