Job Summary:

This role will supervise and provide strategic planning to cross-functional teams including web, digital, IT, and social. They will align these departments towards digital objectives, supervising project implementation and ensuring effective communication throughout the organization.

At the level of senior director, the Senior Director of Digital Strategy offers strategic guidance to a number of departments and teams. They lead the development of digital strategies for the long term. They often collaborate with the board members and senior executives for the above. They need to stay abreast of the upcoming technologies, industry standard practices, and market trends. They inspire a digital-first mindset within their organization and advocate for digital transformation.

Essential Functions:

· Business insight: An in-depth understanding of market dynamics, business operations, and customer insights is needed. They should have the acumen to sync the digital strategies with the aims of the business and understand where growth is possible.

· Strategic Thinking: There is a need to possess a strategic mindset that would allow them to foresee the future of the company and give out innovative solutions. They must have the ability to identify opportunities that would use digital technologies to get a competitive advantage.

· Data-Driven, Analytical Approach: It is important to have the quality of analyzing data, interpreting insights, and making decisions that are data-driven. Digital Transformation Managers must be open to working with data, and they must utilize analytics to assess the impact of digital initiatives.

· Collaboration and Communication: Must possess excellent collaboration and communication skills that are important for managing stakeholders.

· Project Management: Effective project management skills are needed for overseeing and coordinating digital initiatives. They must be able to effectively manage financial resources, timelines, and budgets.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively, in English, with diverse populations.

· Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

· Expert in understanding various digital marketing tactics to include Google ads, retargeting, remarketing, SEO, Omnichannel strategy, social media, marketing automation, AI

· Ability to analyze and synthesize data from a variety of sources and to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem- solving skills to resolve complex issues.

· Ability to have an in-depth understanding of developing technologies like machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cloud computing.

· Ability to combine data and understanding to boost innovation and motivate performance within the organization and for the clients’ benefit.

· Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize, organize and manage multiple priorities.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, GA4, and ability to quickly master new software applications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related discipline and a minimum of five years’ experience in digital marketing and leading a team is preferred.
