Buyer, Purchasing Powertrain

Introduction We are looking for a Buyer in UD Trucks Purchasing Powertrain.

Mission •Your mission is to drive and achieve all Purchasing Objectives for theassigned portfolio within Purchasing. •Your role as a Buyeris both strategic & operational, taking care of sourcing, projectdeliverables and operational maintenance activities.

Reporting To Powertrain Buyer manager

Main Responsibilities •Contribute tosegment strategies & be an active member in the global network of commoditybuyers. • Responsible tooptimize sourcing activities together with all related functions, Engineer,SQE, Logistic, Cost engineer etc. • Responsible tosecure that supplier selection is aligned with the Segment strategy. • Responsible of thesupplier recommendation in Sourcing Board including Business case, andagreement management • Responsible to costKPI/P&L and MCL of owned segments and suppliers • To secure theoutcome of the sourcing in a contractual package, and that all agreements areapproved and signed • Execute agreementswith suppliers during production and after production • Drive all relevantactivities to deliver on QDCFTSR targets during production phase • Monitor, identifyand mitigate risks in cooperation with SQ&D team • Forecast costevolution for scope of responsibility • Manage andnegotiate product/processes changes during production phase, and afterproduction phase for Revenue segments • Perform dailypurchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financialflows to the suppliers • Perform hand-overto Uptime buyer when parts are phased out of production for non-revenue parts

Competence & Experience • 3 years’ experience in Purchasing and/or extensive negotiation experiencewith a supplier/customer relationship • Knowledge of Financial analysis, Cost Management, Production& Supply chain and technology • Business acumen, MS Office • Business, Engineering or related field and or equivalentexperience • Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to takeinitiatives

Preferable • Strong experience of working for Automotiveor related company • Project Management • Quality Management • Contract Management • Relevant process & system knowledge
