Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IT to lead our IT department within the healthcare sector. As the Director of IT, you will play a crucial role in overseeing technology operations and ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and standards. You will devise and implement IT strategies and systems to support patient care, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance overall healthcare delivery.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.

Direct and manage the company's healthcare IT infrastructure, including electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, and cybersecurity measures. Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

Monitor and optimize the performance of healthcare information systems to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Manage IT budgets and expenditures.

Ensure the security of the company's information and data.

Identify and recommend new technology solutions that will improve business operations and decision-making.

Manage IT budgets and expenditures within the healthcare context, ensuring cost-effective IT solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience:

Proven experience as a Director of IT or similar managerial role, preferably in healthcare

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar a plus

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, Office 365, Meraki) will be an advantage.

Relevant certifications in healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS, CHCIO) and ITIL, CISSP, Office 365, Meraki or other IT certifications.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking
