As a national defense firm, we're seeking passionate attorneys licensed in Kentucky with experience in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home defense. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 3+ years Medical Malpractice litigation experience. Responsibilities:

At QPWB, our Medical Malpractice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, in the defense of medical malpractice defense actions. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. As an Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice, your role will involve:

Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.

Ability to represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation.

Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.

Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.

Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.

Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications:

What Youll Bring

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Admitted to practice in the State of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home defense.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills.
