Responsibilities:
What will I be doing in this position?
We understand that we cannot list every single task that you will do in this position, but below is an overview of our expectations:
Our Service Technicians are responsible for providing 5-star customer service to our existing customers on regular maintenance appointments while applying chemicals and other manual solutions to eliminate pests.
- Safely store, mix, apply or spray pesticide chemicals or other manual solutions to building interiors and exteriors, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Conduct inspections to identify infestations or conditions conducive to infestations of insects or other vertebrate pests and deliver tailored solution for customers. If a solution is unable to be identified, the Technician will communicate with the office
- Interact with customers, face-to-face, to explain service features and benefits
- Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate and organized service records
- Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the Company Vehicle Policy
- Manage inventory, equipment and chemicals and report to the branch for restocks
- Utilize technology to manage appointments and maintain customer service records
- Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, and training; this includes participation in on-site meetings and training
- Adhere to policies and regulations of governing entities where compliance is required

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance carrier may make some age-based exceptions) and possess an active driver's license with an MVR that meets insurance requirements

- Are willing to work Monday - Saturday and some holidays
- Earn and maintain the state required training and licensing (training will be provided)
Specific consideration will be given to candidates who meet the above qualifications and who:
- Have 6+ months of experience in the pest control industry
- Have 6+ months of customer service experience
- Already possess the state required pest control licensing
- Have experience operating a Company vehicle
