Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for life science clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand clients' business operations, industry challenges, and financial objectives.
- Lead and oversee audit engagements for life science clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance to audit teams, reviewing workpapers, and ensuring the timely completion of audit procedures.
- Identify and assess audit risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation to clients.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including identifying new client opportunities and contributing to proposal development.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in auditing, with a significant portion dedicated to life sciences clients.
- CPA designation is required.
- Business development skills and a track record of successfully growing client relationships.
