POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:

Proactively support managers in creating the desired employee experience. Execute talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, and HRIS/systems, communication and community relations initiatives in the division. Ensure all employee and manager inquiries are accurately addressed in a timely and consistent manner and in line with the employee value proposition. Connect inquiries to the Employee Services Center for Level 0-2 inquiries. Handle Level 3 and above inquiries personally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related degree.
Five plus years' experience in human resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven success in communicating at all levels of an organization.
Experience in employee relations through varying levels of an organization and application of employment law and statutory requirements.
Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork at all levels of an organization.
Proven ability to analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations/solutions.
Ability to frame business issues, analyze options, and concisely articulate a course of action to cross functional audiences.
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) systems on report generation and data analysis.
Ability to influence change within the workforce that directly supports organizational culture.
Proficient in the basic features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel).
Willingness to travel as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or MBA.
PHR/SPHR Certification.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in the advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel).

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Employee Experience

Assist implementation of Employee Experience strategy
Build positive employee relations/relationships
Support and facilitate division and plant specific guidelines/procedures
Coach/partner with managers on performance management
Interact with employees and follow-up regarding substance abuse results management
Application/implementation of people and cultural strategies to address legislative/external trends at the state/local level
Manage or assist with initial employment claims
Engagement survey communication and action planning
Onboarding experience/process execution
Partner with the Employee Services Center for Level 0-2 inquiries and handling Level 3 and above inquiries personally)

Talent Acquisition

Participate in community events, job fairs, job postings, tech schools, high schools, etc.
Participate in interview and selection process to identify final candidate

Learning and Development

Coach and assist manager/supervisors on development process and tools
End-to-end management of divisional talent programs (e.g., apprentice)
Deliver core division and enterprise learning programs
Assist with leader and team assimilations
Support and communicate organizational changes

Total Rewards

Work with and administer compensation programs
Promote recognition programs

HRIS/Systems

Provide day-to-day support of time and attendance systems
Follow guidelines to ensure data integrity
HRIS system adoption

Communication/Community Relations

Employee communications - monitor postings, announcements, etc.
Provide input on Intranet and social media content management
Manage Community relations

Administrative

ISO, customer and quality audits

Monitor employee compliance-related actions and processes (handbook, MVR, etc.)
Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description.
