Maintains records and prepares reports of program activities. Implements Bureau asset management strategies. Recommends likelihood and consequence of failure criteria. Coordinates work between consultants, the Department, and other County agencies. Coordinates program requirements and access needs to County IT staff. Maintains existing asset management models and oversees development and deployment of new models. Examples of Other Duties Performs other related duties as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of asset management. Knowledge of asset management software preferred. Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage an engineering program. Ability to supervise professional engineering, subprofessional engineering, technical, and clerical staff. Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors. License and Certificates Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland driver's license may be required for some positions at the time of appointment.
