The Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring that all residents receive the highest quality of care in a safe and compassionate environment.Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct nursing staff on the 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shift- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities, including medication administration, treatments, and assessments- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor staff performance- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies- Handle any emergencies or critical incidents that may arise during the shiftQualifications:- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long term care setting- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care- Excellent communication and leadership abilities- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technologyFull time team members can enjoy:401(k) with matchDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional developmentTuition reimbursementVision insurance
