We are looking for a 'hands-on' expert to serve as Finance Leader and segment Controller for our North American Industrial Operations. You will report functionally, but fully engage in our Manufacturing operations to understand the complexities of the facility and make valid business recommendations. This role will lead a direct staff of two professionals and will be in close contact with regional leaders and international stakeholders providing financial analysis and data.Responsibilities will include reporting of the financial results from Industrial activities and advising on cost and efficiency, production optimization and capital investment. This role will provide insightful FP&A and modeling analysis as we evaluate ongoing and new business opportunities. Virbac is investing extensively in our St. Louis, MO production facility to support our ambition for high growth in North America. An ERP implementation commenced 2022 and a lot of complex and multinational projects are ongoing with very exciting perspectives.Additional responsibilities:•Direct the industrial operations activity through financial and operational reporting, consistently evaluate and analyze performance,, provide reliable metrics in an intuitive dashboard including manufacturing variance, inventory valuation, plant capacity and efficiency.•Oversee accounting for the plant through effective coordination with US accounting teams both at the plant and US corporate office.•Teaming closely with the site manager (VP-IO) and local leadership team, review and recommend a course of action to monitor, control and improve operational activities including Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, and Capital Investments.•Contribute to international projects for Group Finance, locally evaluate the standard cost system methodology and recommend a correct approach for appropriate cost application.Minimum Requirements & Desired Requirements:•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.•8+ years' of progressive Finance experience in production environment, including leading direct reports. Understanding of industrial costing , ERP and supply chain experience is required.
