**Job: South Jordan Front Desk Receptionist**

**Classification:** Non-Exempt

**Hourly:** $12-$17 (GS 1-4)

**Reports to:** Office Manager

**Position type:** Full or Part-time

****Summary:****

The front desk receptionist is responsible for handling the front office reception and various administrative duties, including but not limited to greeting/checking in clients, answering phones, handling company inquiries, collecting co-payments, filing, organizing documents, and other clerical duties. They provide support to management and employees by assisting in daily office needs and the performance of the companys general administrative activities.

****Responsibilities:****

* Greet/meet all clients who come into the office; respond to the public both by phone and in-person

* Verify client information and insurance

* Learns and practices de-escalation techniques (may occasionally be exposed to high-stress environments)

* Maintains a safe and clean environment

****Requirements:****

* Proficient knowledge of computers including, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software

* Accurate and efficient electronic data entry

* Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance

* Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently

* Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills

* Thrives in a changing work environment including inside, outside, and loud noise level

* Physical demands of the job will include sitting at a desk or table for extended periods, bending, lifting, and walking

* Pass a full criminal background check

* Eligible to work in the US

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years experience in customer service

* Billing and insurance experience
