Job Title: Buyer
Location: Remote, US

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and source quality products and materials from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals and maintain beneficial supplier relationships.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  4. Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement metrics to make informed purchasing decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments, such as production, engineering, and quality control, to understand material requirements and address any procurement-related issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  3. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  4. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Certification in supply chain management or purchasing (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.


This is a remote position.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.96 per hour
