Egis EGIS USA Inc. (Egis) is searching for an experienced Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer to join our Evansville area office. This is a leadership position with the opportunity to build a team of talented and skilled water resource engineering professionals.

Egis is a leading provider of engineering, construction and technical services for public agencies and private sector companies around the United States. The Company offers a broad range of planning, engineering design, environmental, construction observation, program and construction management, systems integration, operations and maintenance, management and a wide range of specialized technical services for the U.S. federal government, state and local government agencies. We provide services for water/wastewater engineering, transportation, bridges, site development, environmental services, and right of way engineering and consulting services.

As a Senior Engineer, you are a leader with the opportunity to grow and mentor a high-performing team of talented and skilled engineering professionals. You will use your management skills to plan and organize the team's efforts and take responsibility for cost control, staffing, and quality. Your demonstrated professionalism will come into play as you cultivate and nurture client relationships and build the EGIS brand by participating in state and regional associations. Use your strength as a communicator to assist with proposals and direct marketing efforts.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of civil projects from conceptual phase to final design
  • Manage and coordinate work efforts performed
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients in the region
  • Assist in direct marketing efforts, including proposal writing, trade show/conference attendance, etc.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of projects: cost control, staffing and quality control
  • Satisfy client requirements
  • Maintain industry recognition through prominence in state and regional professional associations
  • Promote and maintain the presence and image of EGIS in the marketplace
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering with 10-15 years of related experience
  • Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant modeling and design expertise
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana or the ability to obtain PE within 6 months
  • Funding and Review Agency expertise
  • Knowledge and experience with plant operations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Established relationships with clients
  • Active in relevant professional organizations/societies
