Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Data Modeler to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying database models that support our business applications. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling best practices, experience with SQL databases, and proficiency with the Erwin data modeling tool. The position offers a hybrid work environment with a mix of onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities:

Database Modeling: Design, develop, and deploy database models to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.

Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and data modeling for both operational applications and analytical databases.

Data Classification and Naming: Responsible for data classification, naming conventions, database design, and creation of Data Definition Language (DDL).

Technical Consulting: Provide technical consulting to application teams on data naming, classification, design, and handling, serving as the first line of defense for data controls.

Architectural Improvements: Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, team processes, and functions.

Client Interaction: Meet with clients as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results.

Accountability: Take accountability to complete work on time and proactively address blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met.

Deliverable Quality: Ensure all deliverables are completed with high satisfaction and build relationships with clients and peers to foster trust and confidence.

Innovative Solutions: Lead the development of new solutions and accelerators based on past and current client execution, aiming to drive results and innovation.

Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance in building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients.

Required Skills:

12+ years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, or a related field

Hands-on experience with Erwin data modeling tool

Proficiency with databases and SQL

Experience with dimensional modeling

Deep understanding of data modeling best practices

Full lifecycle experience in both waterfall and agile development methodologies

Practical and results-oriented approach to work

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field in Analytics
