Fossil Group is looking for a Sr IT Project Manager to join our IT team
What you will do in this role:
  • Responsible for planning, scope management, financial management and execution for IT projects in support of business objectives
  • Responsible for identifying project milestones and tracking progress, including outcomes, of the project phases
  • Responsible to lead and manage project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
  • Responsible for managing project performance using standard project management tools, procedures, and adhering to Fossil standards
  • Responsible for managing issues, risks,and appropriate mitigation plans
  • Responsible for identifying and clearing project roadblocks in a timely manner
  • Responsible for applying critical thinking to manage project dependencies throughout project lifecycle
  • Responsible for coordinating/facilitating meetings as needed to support project related activities
  • Responsible for providing project status to all levels of the organization
  • Responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer of Projects to IT Operations team
  • Responsible for maintaining annual PMP certification and staying current with PMP trends

Your Skills
  • 7+ years IT Project Management experience
  • 1+ year of Retail industry experience
  • Experience with Global HR technology preferred
  • Experience managing large package implementation initiatives
  • Experience working with multiple vendors
  • Strong skills in vendor management including reviewing SOWs
  • Experience with financial project spend tracking
  • Excellent skills in project estimation, scheduling, and status tracking
  • Strong skills with issue, risk and change request management
  • Excellent and timely communications and collaboration skills
  • Strong sense of accountability
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and efficient time management skills required
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or other Project Management software
