Spirit AeroSystems focuses on affordable, innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions to support customers around the globe.Responsibilities Location: Wichita, KS Key Accountabilities: Validate that product realization processes are capable of producing parts and assemblies that meet engineering and design requirements. Provide objective evidence the manufacturers processes can produce compliant product (e.g. assemblies, sub-assemblies, and detail parts including castings, forgings and modifications to standard catalogue or Commercial-Off-the-shelf items) and that they have understood and incorporated associated requirements. FAI planning consists of using both Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to capture the Engineering characteristics and documenting them on the approved AS9102 documents. This standard applies to Spirit for producing the design characteristics of the product (i.e., product realization). Planners may interrupt Bills of Material, Routings, 2D Drawings or Catia Models. Qualifications Required Qualifications: SAP Navigation and knowledge Blueprint and Specification interpretation 2+ years' experience in aircraft manufacturing HS Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: Good to excellent computing skills Planning or Quality Experience Ability to communicate effectively, act decisively, and demonstrate innovation and resourcefulness Net Inspect and Inspection Xpert software experience preferred Fluent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Ability to apply knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures Spirit AeroSystems is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
