Job Summary:

The Squirrels OEM integration team provides top-quality screen sharing and collaboration technology. High-profile OEM companies choose our software products to embed into projectors, conferencing solutions, interactive whiteboards, seat-back displays, customer displays, set-top boxes and more. Squirrels technology can be found in millions of hardware devices around the world and has been distributed to tens of millions of users.

We are adding a role to our team that assists Squirrels engineers with creating automated test plans for our video and audio products. Our products deliver high quality, low latency video and audio sharing, and as the QA Engineer, you will be directly responsible for automating this testing.

Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
Developing and implementing manual and automated testing procedures for our audio/video software products on OEM hardware, ensuring that bugs are identified and resolved before they get to the customer.
Embracing a deep understanding of product specifications and customer requirements and being the customer's voice in the room by attending customer status meetings with OEM partners.
Participating in the triaging and diagnosis of customer bug reports and feature requests.
Validating bugs are fixed that are reported by OEM partners and communicating their resolution status to customers.
Participating in all phases of product development, from design to deployment, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum two years of professional experience developing and implementing QA testing
Proven success in demonstrating methodologies, tools and automated testing strategies for audio and video products.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
A desire to work with a team to deliver high-quality software regularly and on schedule.
Eagerness to explain the reasoning behind solution approaches and discuss alternatives or optimality.
Comfortable working in any operating environment including Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
Knowledge of languages, like C, JNI, C++/CLR, Swift, etc., is desired
Knowledge and experience with the following technologies is desired: Gradle, CMake,
