The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer is tasked with taking a product from the initial quote stage, through process development, and into production manufacturing. This role requires interaction with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle, as well as collaboration with sales and customer teams to enhance designs and processes. The NPI Engineer will spearhead the development of lean manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures within the engineering department. Responsibilities include managing product/process development in the early phases of the product lifecycle, collaborating with customers to provide manufacturability feedback, coordinating NPI functions within the engineering department and across functional teams, developing key process variables for machining and secondary operational processes, and assisting in various engineering and CNC programming tasks.
