Primary Job Responsibilities include:- Develop rules and process to control the integrity (accuracy, thoroughness, process compliance) of all data within company databases- Facilitate compliance with laws and regulations and customer, vendor, and business partner contracts and agreements- Help protect Company assets from threats and vulnerabilities, while protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company assets in any form- Assist with execution of annual Company and HIPAA risk assessments. Execute focused risk assessment procedures as part of vendor, hardware, and software vetting, prior to acquisition or engagement Requirement: - Professional level security, risk, or compliance certification required (certification must be current and candidate should be a member in good standing with the credentialing organization)- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and HIPAA Compliance or equivalent experience in a highly-regulated environment preferred- Familiarity with GINA preferred- Must have proven work experience managing, administering, and maintaining networking systems and client-server environments- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of security best practices to prevent data breach and losses, preferably with experience working in a healthcare or other highly-regulated industry. Additional consideration given to those with strong experience in environments subject to HIPAA compliance- Good verbal and written communication skills- Ability to establish metrics/scorecards to demonstrate value-add- Exhibit strong planning, organizing and project management skills- Commitment to quality and integrity- Capacity to take initiative when necessary and provide a proactive approach to the work that must be doneEducation:Minimum BS required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence or a related disciplineTo apply for this position please submit an MS Word doc of your resume and put in the subject "Job ID # 1927".
