We are seeking for a highly skilled

Python Developer

with a deep understanding of

Design for Testability (DFT)

concepts and tools to join our dynamic team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will excel in

Python programming , have a strong grasp of

DFT methodologies , and be experienced with essential tools such as

IJTAG ,

Open OCD ,

visualization libraries , and data parsing techniques. While experience in

post-silicon or hardware development

is optional, it would be a valuable asset to enhance our comprehensive approach to electronic design. This role focuses on utilizing your Python expertise and

DFT knowledge (with optional post-silicon/hardware experience)

to contribute effectively to our projects.

Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python-based software solutions for DFT, test automation, and validation processes. Implement DFT methodologies to enhance testability and improve the quality of electronic designs. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate DFT features into the design and ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize IJTAG (IEEE 1687) for instrumenting and controlling embedded test and debug features in integrated circuits. Interface with Open On-Chip Debugger (Open OCD) for debugging and programming embedded systems. Design and implement data visualization tools to analyse test results and performance metrics. Develop parsers and data processing algorithms for handling test data Stay updated with the latest advancements in DFT methodologies, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications: 10 + overall years of experience in the field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. The ideal resume would contain: Experience in

semiconductor industry

or

electronic design automation (EDA)

domain. Familiarity with

hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)

and

electronic design tools (Cadence, Synopsys). Understanding of

Agile development

methodologies and

version control systems (Git, SVN) . Experience in post-silicon testing, hardware validation, or related areas. Experience with

IJTAG (IEEE 1687)

standards and tools for embedded test and debug. -optional Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Self-motivated with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies. Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on completion of projects and Timelines

Must Have Skills: 7+ Years of Experience Proficiency in

Python programming

with a strong understanding of software development best practices. 7+ Years of Experience Knowledge of

Design for Testability (DFT)

concepts, methodologies, and techniques. 7+ Years of Experience Familiarity with

Open On-Chip Debugger (Open OCD)

for debugging and programming embedded systems. 7+ Years of Experience Expertise in

data visualization

libraries such as

Matplotlib, Plotly, or similar tools.
