Overview:

TRC is looking for a Senior GIS Consultant with data-focused experience to lead the GIS data teams on GIS/EAM implementation projects through all phases including blueprint, realization, testing, final preparation, and post go-live support. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in GIS data best practices and advise clients on industry best practices. Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with client teams to assess current business and system data and processes
  • Leading, mentoring, and coaching data team staff on project delivery and career development
  • Supporting definition of solutions, improvement plans, and change management approaches
  • Analyzing customer data requirements to develop high quality GIS/EAM integration solutions tailored to the customers business and technical needs
  • Monitoring data migration and integration design and delivery to ensure adherence to requirements, scope, and schedule
  • Supporting implementation of data migration processes, quality assurance, quality control, client data review, testing, dress rehearsal, and cutover activities
  • Working with sales and marketing teams to support sales and business development activities as required


Responsibilities:

Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:

  • 7+ years related experience
  • Experience in the use of GIS solutions including functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Mobile)
  • Strong technical or functional knowledge of data migration and integration approaches and tools, including FME, Python, or SQL
  • Capability to translate business requirements into proposed technical solutions
  • Experience managing subcontractor work
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise communication techniques
  • Experience managing teams, including skills development, coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive input and support.
  • Strong industry perspective in the areas of electric and gas transmission and distribution
  • Esri Utility Network upgrade/migration experience
  • Experience integrating Esri GIS with other Enterprise platforms including Asset Management software and lifecycle solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

A successful candidate for this position can design and implement a successful project technically but also considers how their work impacts the customers people, processes, and technology to ensure projects have a positive business impact and widespread adoption. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Companys annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
