  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of government and third party payer billing regulations and guidelines
  • Perform coding and clinical documentation practices that support appropriate billing and reimbursement for the level of service rendered
  • Work collaboratively with physicians/clinical staff to improve the quality of medical record documentation that supports reimbursement
