Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Denton, TX

Summary:

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading rehabilitation home in Denton, TX, to find a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT). This is an excellent opportunity for a PT to make a positive impact on the lives of patients recovering in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Treatment:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and functional abilities.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific conditions and goals.

Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to build strong relationships and optimize treatment outcomes.

Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences.

Documentation and Compliance:

Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR system for documentation, reporting, and data collection.

Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with federal, state, and insurance regulations.

Leadership and Teamwork:

Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the team.

Delegate tasks to support staff and utilize PTAs effectively when applicable.

Contribute to a positive and service-oriented culture.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing patient needs and schedules.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current CPR certification.

Strong clinical skills, preferably with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Proficient computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move freely to assist patients and perform therapy tasks.

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Effective visual and auditory skills.

Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
