Job Description:

As a Cabinet Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of cabinets according to specifications and blueprints. Your primary duties will include:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cabinet dimensions and materials required.

Selecting materials, such as wood, laminates, and hardware, and other hand and power tools.

Assembling cabinet components using adhesives, screws, nails, and other fasteners, ensuring precise alignment and fit.

Installing hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides, according to design specifications.

Inspecting finished cabinets for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and repairs as needed.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.

Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinet components.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
