Job Description Banquet Bartender On Call - ( 220000R0 ) **Description**
Join our team at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh as a Banquet Bartender
Summary of your role:
* Maintains proper set-up of bar service area during each event/shift.
* Inventory and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce, based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
* Responsible for cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes; juices; and other perishables each shift to ensure product quality.
* Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
* Maintains cleanliness of bar and guest areas throughout shift.
* Receives cash from guests and makes change as needed
* Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
* Should be able to push/pull carts up to 50 pounds.
* Should be able to carry/lift up to 25 pounds.
* Duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
A passion for hospitality is required.
Flexible availability is preferred.
Previous food / beverage experience is highly preferred.
RAMP Certification will be required. If person doesnt have before hire, The Hotel will provide within the first 90 days of employment.
