Description:
The Logistics Coordinator will mainly be responsible for coordinating visitors/contractors & deliveries into the plant. Coordination of shipments for internal & external customers. Provide administrative support for procurement to ensure vendor invoices are paid accurately & timely. Other support for procurement processes may include, but not limited to; PO entry, goods receipt processing & p-card purchases.

Responsibilities:

Create & issue ID badges for new employees.

Ensure all visitors & contractors have received safety training before entry.

o Document training in spreadsheet.

o Issue yearly completion card/certificate.

Manage standard PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for contractors & visitors.

Receive, screen and direct incoming calls.

Monitor & control access at plant entry gates.

o Make note of unusual occurrences.

Monitor security cameras.

Monitor visitors & contact proper Armstrong employee before entry.

o Confirm identity of visitors/contractors by inspecting valid ID.

Direct deliveries to proper location.

Monitor scales & report issues.

Receive raw material receipts & process in SAP.

Update raw material spreadsheet in SharePoint.

Execute outbound shipments for internal & external customers.

Manage waste removal needs.

Create requisitions.

Actively participate in Armstrong Safety Program.

Additional tasks as required.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma

2-5 years of experience in warehouse or shipping environment

Required Qualifications:

Excellent communication

Basic computer proficiency with email and with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Attention to detail and ability to work independently to achieve goals

Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills

SAP experience
