Job Description Customer Service Intern - VIC1089 **Description**

**Job Summary:**

The general purpose of the Customer Service Intern is to partner with the Customer Service Leadership team to identify and implement process improvements to drive increased efficiency.

**Essential Functions & Accountabilities:**

Shadow employees in support of the Employee Free Lens program

Document current process and identify improvement opportunities

Create common, email template to capture all necessary employee information

Gain necessary approvals from business partners

Document new process and partner to identify business ownership as needed

Support implementation of automated trial and/or order revenue processing as determined by CS Project Specialist

Utilize current reporting capabilities to track progress for manual to automated order processing

**Qualifications**

***Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:***

Intermediate skills in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio (preferred).

Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.

Ability to read and understand data analytics.

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations

Professional demeanor.

***Work Environment:***

Professional office setting

Willing to report to work in the Victor office

Ability to support work responsibilities remotely if needed

This is a paid internship

Prolonged sitting in front of a computer

***Experience:***

Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.

***Education:***

Current college student, majoring in Operations or Management, entering their Junior or Senior year

No specific academic affiliations and/or certifications required

3.0+ GPA required
