What Youll Be Doing:
  • Provide accurate tax preparation and filing: Assure prompt preparation and filing of assigned federal, state and local income and franchise tax returns
  • Ensure correct information for audit purposes: Gather accurate information and research applicable laws to assure favorable completion of governmental audits
  • Update general ledger tax accounts: Partner with Corporate Accounting and the Sr. Director Income & Local Tax to assure general ledger accounts are updated
  • Complete monthly and yearly tasks: Support assigned quarterly and annual reconciliation of tax accounts in addition to providing support for year-end tax provision review
  • Perform calculations: Collect information to prepare foreign bank account reports; calculate assigned state apportionment
  • 1099 and Income tax preparation: Support 1099 preparation and all required Federal and State income tax returns

Qualifications that Make You the Perfect Fit:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related fields required
  • 1-2 years of relevant corporate tax experience in corporate, public, or related environment required
  • SAP, OneSource (Income Tax Software), CCH AnswerConnect (Research) preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to promote teamwork required
  • Ability to meet firm deadlines required
