Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day software development of the app automation team. Develop and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks and test suites from the ground up. Design, implement, and execute automated test cases to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of our software applications. Collaborate with project managers and software developers to understand application requirements and provide input on testability. Lead the team in the estimation, design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts. Organize, lead, and monitor multiple priorities and projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks/issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines. Investigate and report software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Mentor and train junior QA automation engineers, sharing best practices and industry standards. Continuously assess and adopt emerging QA and automation technologies and methodologies. Build and maintain an onsite device farm of proprietary Android hardware. Manage cloud device farms for both Android and iOS mobile applications. Identify and implement processes to increase efficiency for both automated and manual testing
