Associates degree in Anesthesia Technology or completion of an accredited anesthesia machine training course or a two (2) year combination of previous on-the-job training and experience is required.3. Familiarity with basic anesthesia machine trouble shooting, basic pharmaceutical knowledge, aseptic techniques, sterilization, and disinfection knowledge of supplies and equipment are required.5. Certification as an anesthesia technician and one year of experience as an anesthesia technician is preferred.8.
