Wilder is a new center city restaurant opening March 2022 and we are seeking Pizza Cooks to join the team

Wilder is a new restaurant by Brett Naylor & Nicole Barrick. The menu will be overseen by Executive Chef Bob Truitt, who is an alum of the Marea, Ai Fiori, Corton, Room 4 Dessert and El Bulli. The menu will focus on seasonal American with European influences of local produce and seafood, wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, a raw bar & various other delicious Wilder creations.

Wilder can offer dynamic career opportunities for motivated and passionate line cooks looking to learn more or advance their careers. We are looking for someone who has a desire to dive right in, maintain high standards and help take the restaurant to the next level. The ideal candidate enjoys a professional vibe, working with a diverse group of employees, and has a passion for food and hospitality.

Skills required:

* A positive attitude & great work ethic

* Previous experience with pizza shaping and cooking

* Willingness to learn

* Understanding of general cooking techniques, food handling and preparation

* The ability to collaborate with teammates

* The ability to stay organized and multitask

Line Cook Responsibilities

* Report directly to Sous Chefs and Executive Chef

* Interact professionally with your teammates

* Manage daily prep lists

* Keep dry storage and walk-ins clean and organized

* Working service

* Keep up standards of food quality and restaurant cleanliness

* Keep your station and uniform in clean and working order

* Open or Close your station to the highest standard

* Additional responsibilities as directed

* Contributions to family meal

* Occasional heavy lifting

* Deep cleaning
