We offer Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Nursing Assistant positions and specialize in long-term care at our nursing home facilities throughout the state of Wisconsin. Being an agency, we are able to offer flexible work hours, all based on YOU You get to pick the hours that you want to work, the frequency of how often you work and what facilities you work at. Midwest Clinical Resource allows employees to work on a casual or full-time status. Full-time status is earned and comes with extra benefits, such as insurance benefits and PTO. By allowing a flexible work environment, our employees can enjoy and create the life they want by working as much or as little as they would like to, on condition that they maintain the minimum requirement of working 3 shifts per month. Positions come with weekly pay, plus the opportunity for instant pay through Rain, to bridge the gap between paydays for your convenience. Position wages range based on experience and the position you are applying for. We also offer an opportunity for holiday pay, shift bonuses, and referral bonuses. With our partnership with North Shore, there is also an opportunity to become a part-time or full-time permanent employee at one of our facilities: Essential Job Duties Responsibilities (CNA) Attend to the individual needs of residents which may include assistance in personal and oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs not listed. Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel. Provide care that maintains each residents skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin, etc. Answer residents call bells promptly and courteously. Perform various tasks assigned by the charge nurse including vital signs, residents weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc. Assist with orienting residents and their families to the nursing home upon admission and to the unit when transfers occur. Lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention. Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors. Complete certified nursing assistant records, documenting care provided or other information in keeping with department policies The duties and responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive. There may be other tasks assigned to the role that should be handled professionally and respectfully. Skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to lift and move patients Excellent written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and family alike Exceptional customer service Ability to multi-task, and accomplish and meet timelines Competency to complete any procedure ordered within realm of job of a Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications To be considered for this role, a candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification course. Candidates must hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state in which he or she is practicing and have at least 6 months experience in long-term care. Candidates must also have reliable means of transportation and a negative TB test, valid within the last 6 months. Compensation Pay is determined based on years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
