The organization is passionately focused on combating recidivism in addiction and preventing the downward spiral that often leads to homelessness. The organization believes that breaking this cycle is essential, which is why it provides men coming out of rehabilitation with the tools they need for success.

These tools are represented by the Six Pillars: housing stability, financial literacy-wealth building, family counseling, physical and mental wellness, sobriety maintenance, and career advancement. These pillars form the backbone of the comprehensive support system. The organization's firm commitment to these principles ensures that every action taken contributes to meaningful and lasting change for those served.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role at William's House, Inc. for a Treasurer - Board Member. The

Treasurer

will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This includes financial analysis, budgeting, and providing financial guidance to the board of directors. The

Treasurer

will collaborate with other board members and the Executive Director and other executive staff to ensure the organization's financial stability and success.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management and accounting skills, CPA
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and fundraising
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to strategic planning
• Previous experience serving on a board of directors is a plus
