Description

For our Starbucks and marketplace, we are looking to add a welcoming and professional cashier-greeter to the team. As the customer's first point of contact, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. This is a busy, high-volume food service environment, and we need someone who can provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include the cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a willingness to be adaptable and take on a variety of tasks, are required of the ideal candidate. Responsibilities

•Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner
•Keep the kitchen, dining room, and service areas clean and sanitized
•Relay charges to customer, take payments and give back the appropriate change if necessary
•Check the amount of money in the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift
•Accept orders from customers, type them into the register, and send them to the kitchen staff

Qualifications

•Coffee shop experience
•Able to work early AM shifts and weekends
•Basic computer skills or experience using a POS system and cash register skills are desired
•Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
•Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential
•Experience handling money and payments in a cashier role preferred
