Union OBGYN

, part of Atrium Health, is currently recruiting a BE/BC OB/Gyn Physician to lead our growing practice based in Monroe, NC - just 25 miles southeast of Charlotte.

Position Highlights:

Site Based Medical Director with protected administrative time

5-6 call days per month; 24-hour shifts

Certified Nurse Midwives help with Labor and Delivery coverage during the work day

Practice consists of 2 Generalists, 2 Laborists, 2 Advanced Practice Providers

Deliveries and surgeries at Atrium Health Union, Level II NICU

New Women's Tower with 24 LDRP suites

Main office adjacent to the hospital and outer office in Waxhaw, NC

Atrium Health Union is a 175-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children's center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 15-plus years, our hospital has been serving the Monroe area and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.

Union County has been one of the fastest growing areas of North Carolina for the last decade. Located adjacent and southeast of Charlotte-Mecklenburg County, it has become the de facto location for new residents who move to the area who want to live near Uptown Charlotte but enjoy a suburban lifestyle.
